Depending on the urgency, surgery can typically be scheduled within two weeks or sooner if needed. If you have a particular date in mind, please be sure and let your surgeon know this during your consultation.
Most procedures are performed in a hospital setting with the exception of minor procedures such as small lipomas, lesions and cysts.

Your first appointment is typically a consultation only. If you have a small lesion, we may remove it in the office the day of your appointment. Otherwise, we will see you in consultation and then schedule your surgery.

No, after your surgery is scheduled our office will call to get the authorization or pre-certification for your surgery.
It could range anywhere from 1 day to 6 weeks, however it depends on the type of procedure you have done. Please ask your nurse or surgeon at your consultation.
We offer many types of services ranging from simple procedures that can be done in the office to more complex procedures that are done in a hospital operating room.
We do everything we can to stay on schedule, but this is not always possible. We treat each and every patient with respect and try to answer all questions before they leave our office. If we are running behind, it is probably due to an emergency case either in the office or in the hospital. We do everything we can to get back on schedule and keep your wait as short and comfortable as possible.
You do not need an appointment. We recommend you call the office to make sure we are running on schedule. If so, we prefer that you come between 9:00am and 11:00am or 1:00pm and 3:30pm to see a nurse.
If we prescribed the medication, you may call our office and select the nurse line to request this. You need to have your pharmacy name and phone number available and you may be asked to leave a message. There are certain types of medications that we cannot refill by phone, in which case we will provide a written prescription that can be picked up during our office hours.
Call the office and request your records and a copy will be available for pick up with-in 48 hrs. You, the patient are the only one who can get your records unless you sign a medical information release form for someone else to receive your information.
A HIPPA waiver giving a person authorization to obtain records can give a specified person access to your records.
It takes 5-7 business days for your forms to be completed. There is a $20.00 fee for completion of Disability and FMLA forms.
